Mechanical
All mechanical services are provided for all types of inboard and outboard marine vessels specializing in diesel and gas engines. These services include maintenance, repair and rebuilding of engines, transmissions, carburetors, total over-haul services. Our mechanics have 10-15 years experience in this specialized work and have worked with such name brand engines as Volvopenta, Yanmar, Yamaha, Detroits, Mercury, and Johnson. Other services include re-conditioning of jet skies and any other marine mechanical services that a client may require.
Special services are provided to the Charters, Cruise Boats and Commercial Fishermen where emergency services can be provided to eliminate any time loss to the services they provide.
We have the ability to provide fabrication services together with the installation of new engines with the alignment of propellers to ensure that the vessel performs and looks at its best.
Fiberglass
We provide all fiberglass work which includes the preparatory work such as drawings for the article that will be made, producing a mould and producing refined finishing touches to the article. Also, we provide gel coats, engine beds, and other fiberglass repairs such as patchwork. All fiberglass boats may have their seasonal maintenance conducted at General Marine Services.
 
Electrical
Electrical services provided include: GPS installations, radio, lighting, all types of electrical wiring, installation of generators, together with the installation of air-conditioning systems and heaters and maintenance of these systems.
Carpentry
All wooden boats can be maintained at General Marine Services. Any type of wood-working inclusive of working with teak is provided to ensure that your vessel mirrors a pristine quality of workmanship. This includes stripping, re-varnishing and painting.
