Bermuda is an island where persons own boats for pleasure and fishing. There are approximately 10,000 boats that require on-going maintenance to ensure that they are performing at their optimal level.
Due to the large amount of boats/vessels in Bermuda and the apportioned amount of mechanics on the island to perform the required tasks of maintaining such a fleet, it is necessary for such a service to be provided

The General Marine Services opened in 2005 as a mobile marine service providing mechanical, fiberglass, woodworking (carpentry) and electrical services for boats.
